How do I care for my Saba Studio bag?
Each Saba Studio piece is handcrafted with care. To keep yours lasting for years: gently hand wash cold, spot clean with a damp cloth when needed, reshape while damp, and dry flat. Treat it with the same care and respect with which it was made.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we currently ship worldwide from Kenya.
Do you accept returns?
We do not accept returns or exchanges, as each Saba Studio piece is handcrafted with care. However, if your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery, and we will be happy to make it right.
Do you accept custom textile orders / can I request a specific colour, size, or design?
Yes, we do offer custom orders. Because these require us to work outside of our core designs and colour palettes, they are usually priced higher than our standard pieces. If you’d like to discuss a custom creation, please reach out to us directly — we’d love to bring your idea to life.
What materials do you use?
Our bags are handcrafted from recycled t-shirt yarn, giving new life to materials that might otherwise go to waste. This choice not only makes each piece unique, but also reflects our commitment to sustainability. Beyond bags, our wider practice explores textiles, prints, and furniture — always with an emphasis on eco-conscious making and organic form.

We collaborate closely with local textile makers, ensuring that traditional skills are celebrated and sustained. A key part of our mission is women’s empowerment — creating opportunities in a place where these have often been limited. How do the custom bespoke furniture pieces work?
Our bespoke furniture process begins with either a piece you’ve selected or a second-hand item we source ourselves. From there, we transform it — giving it new life through design, craft, and detail. Each piece is one-of-a-kind, and we can either follow our own creative flow or work closely with your visual requirements to create something that feels truly yours.
