FAQ
How do I care for my Saba Studio bag?
Each Saba Studio piece is handcrafted with care and intention. To ensure its longevity, we recommend gentle spot cleaning of the leather using a damp cloth. For suede or hide elements, use a cleaner specifically designed for suede.
Please do not machine wash or fully hand wash your bag—these pieces are best cared for through light, targeted cleaning only.
Treat your piece with the same care and respect with which it was made, and it will remain a lasting part of your journey.
Shipping within Kenya:
For all shipments within Kenya, we use Wells Fargo, a trusted domestic courier service known for its reliability and efficient delivery. Your Saba piece will typically arrive within the next working day.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we offer worldwide shipping from Kenya via DHL or Aramex. We work with these trusted carriers to ensure your Saba piece arrives safely and reliably.
Do you accept returns?
As each Saba Studio piece is handcrafted with great care and time, we do not accept returns or exchanges.
However, if your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will do our best to make it right.
Do you accept custom orders / can I request a specific colour, size, or design?
Yes, we do offer custom orders. Because these require us to work outside of our core designs and colour palettes, they are usually priced higher than our standard pieces. If you'd like to discuss a custom creation, please reach out to us directly — we'd love to bring your idea to life.
What materials do you use?
Our bags are handcrafted using deadstock leather, suede, and hide, alongside recycled t-shirt yarn and thoughtfully sourced reclaimed beads - giving new life to materials that might otherwise go to waste.
This considered approach ensures that every piece is truly one of a kind, while reflecting our commitment to sustainability. Rooted in eco-conscious values, Saba Studio embraces a slower, more intentional way of creating within the world of fashion and textiles.
How is my purchase supporting artisans?
We collaborate closely with local textile artisans, honouring and sustaining traditional craftsmanship through each piece we create. At the heart of our work is a commitment to empowering local makers—creating meaningful opportunities in places where access has often been limited.
Through this collaboration, we not only craft distinctive, thoughtfully made pieces, but also contribute to a more inclusive and thriving creative community in Kenya.
